A few years ago, if you looked at my life from the outside, it probably looked “fine.”
I had a master’s degree from University of British Columbia, worked in landscape architecture and design, and followed a path that made sense on paper.
But internally, I felt disconnected.
I kept wondering why so many people, especially high functioning adults, looked successful on the outside while quietly feeling anxious, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or unsure who they really were.
At some point, I realized I was one of them.
That realization eventually became Kelly Talks Brand.
Not because I had everything figured out, but because I wanted to document the process of rebuilding clarity in real time.
What I Care About
I’m interested in identity transitions, emotional clarity, communication and relationships, meaningful work, and personal branding that actually reflects who you are.
I’m also curious about how the body, emotions, creativity, and environment shape the way we move through life.
I care less about “perfect success” and more about helping people create a life that feels honest and sustainable.
Why “Kelly Talks Brand”?
Because I don’t think branding is just logos or marketing.
Your brand is how you communicate, what you value, what you avoid, the stories you repeat, and the identity you build through action.
Sometimes personal branding is really about rebuilding trust with yourself first.
What You’ll Find Here
This space is a mix of reflections, storytelling, interviews, and practical insights around personal growth, creativity, transition, and clarity.
Some content may be about career shifts.
Some may be about relationships or emotional patterns.
Some may simply be about learning how to slow down and listen to yourself again.
A Final Thought
I’m still figuring things out too.
This space is not about pretending to have all the answers.
It’s about asking better questions, sharing the process honestly, and helping people feel less alone while creating a life that fits them better.
